Five things worth checking for yourself

1. Roomy rounded toe box. Cut round and wide at exactly the point where older feet have grown wider, with stretch knit over the top. Toes get room to spread instead of being pressed together.
2. Thick cushioned sole. A light, flexible foam sole that absorbs footpaths and kitchen tiles so your heels do less of the shock-taking, and bends where your foot bends.
